About Mrs. Draper

I earned a B.A. in Classical Languages and Secondary Education from Marquette University, where I was inducted into Eta Sigma Phi, the Classics Honorary Society. I hold a M. Ed. in Instructional Leadership from University of Illinois at Chicago. I have taught online since 2007, and have taught in Catholic high schools and grammar schools since 1998. I am a member of several professional organizations for Classicists, including the American Classical League, Illinois Classical Conference, and the Classical Association of the Middle West and South as well as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. In 2005 I was honored by my colleagues in the Illinois Classical Conference as Latin Teacher of the Year.

When I am not teaching, prepping classes, or correcting papers, I love to spend time with my husband and our son, read, sew and make crafts, and run half marathons.

I am very excited to be a part of the family at St. Alexander School. I look forward to a great year of learning about God and his love for us and making new discoveries!
