What is Manna?
Manna is a program offered at St. Alexander School to help lower tuition costs for your family. More importantly it’s also a school fundraiser that keeps overall tuition costs down for all families at St. Alexander School with no out of pocket expense from you. You simply purchase gift certificates and gift cards from various retailers to use as “cash” for your everyday spending and gift giving.

Who can use Manna?
Anyone can use Manna. Recruit family, friends, and neighbors to use Manna on your behalf. Simply give them a Manna envelope and registration form, and we will assign them a number that will feed credit into your account. Organizations such as St. Alexander Athletic Association, Parent’s Association, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Alexander Parish, etc., can use the program too.
Parents looking for future Catholic education of their children at St. Alexander School can also participate. These families can register and indicate their wish to build an earnings account for future enrollment. The monies earned will be held by the St. Alexander School Manna Program and will be credited toward tuition payment when their child enrolls at St. Alexander School.

How do I benefit from using Manna?
You buy and use certificates at face value. The school purchases the requested certificates at a discount (each store participating has a different discount). The school holds and accumulates for you 75% of the discount it receives. The accumulated credit is deducted from your tuition 3 times a year.

Menards, Home Depot, Schroeder’s Ace

When can I start using Manna?
You can start any time. All you need to do is:
  • Complete a Manna registration form
  • Fill out a Manna order envelope.
  • Make your check payable to St. Alexander School for the total dollar amount of certificates ordered.
  • Turn in your order by 3:00 p.m. on Fridays at the school.
  • Pick up your filled order on Wednesdays between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. in the school or have your child bring it home on Wednesday.
  • A limited selection of Manna gift cards is also sold after school on Fridays.
